23 May 2011 - There is currently an issue using the Rugby First system over Internet Explorer v8 and v9. If you are accessing Rugby First using this web-browser and either version, you may find that a number of areas of functionality will not work, return error messages when attempting to save updates or indeed look different. Our Development Team are aware of this, and are currently investigating. As a temporary workaround, please can I ask you to run the browser in ‘Compatibility View’ which is available via the Tools menu or Compatibility View icon . 16 Apr 2011 - The deadline for updates onto RugbyFirst for the RFU Yearbook will be Sunday June 26, 2011. Please ensure that you check and make any required changes on Rugby First before the Yearbook is published. The Helpdesk operates on the following days and times – Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 1100 – 1500 and 1600 - 1930.

25 Nov 2009 - New Player Registration change. An automatic email is now sent to all ‘Registrars’ at the club from which the player is moving from, whenever a player is transferred or loaned out. Please note that the ‘Notification of Transfer’ letter must still be printed and posted, as stated in the Player Registration Regulations.
31 Oct 2009 - Player Registration - Please be aware that it is a regulatory requirement to include full address details when you register a new player. You will not be able to complete the registration process without this information. Similarly, if you intend using the bulk upload process to upload youth player data all address fields need to be populated in the bulk upload spreadsheet.
18 Sep 2009 - Passwords! - It was found that a number of members with CRB checks were using very insecure passwords on RugbyFirst. As CRB's give user access to their under 18's data it was deemed action needed to be taken immediately and all passwords for anybody holding CRB were automatically updated. This action was not taken lightly however data security is our primary concern. If you require your new password please contact your clubs Webmaster or the RugbyFirst helpdesk on the above number.

11 May 2009 - Membership Menu - Please note the names of the sub-menu items of Membership have changed slightly for ease of use and to correctly define their functionality.
20 Mar 2009 - RugbyFirst Help and Support link added to every clubs menu. Now every logged in club member can now access the Help and Support site and it's forum not just Webmasters.
