Vipers RFC
Here at Vipers RFC we pride ourselves on welcoming players of all ages and abilities. We endeavour to provide a safe environment where players can learn all about rugby, be part of a team and in turn part of a club.
In these pages you will find our policies and procedures, which are in line with RFU guidelines for all rugby clubs, and if you have any queries or question please feel free to contact any member of our committee or coaching team to ask for more information. We provide a parent booklet each season to every player, which has copies of the relevant procedures. In addition the current procedures are displayed on the wall, in the club house, near to the kitchen.
We are in regular contact with the Leicestershire Rugby Union and the RFU to keep ourselves up to date with changes in rules and regulations.
We have also achieved level 3 accreditation of the RFU award 'Seal of Approval'. At this stage this award is for our Youth Section. However, we are working towards level 3 for the whole club, which we hope to achieve during season 2010/11.
We also welcome parent help throughout the club. The club is run by volunteers and we are always on the look out for new parents to get involved, depending on what time you have available and how much you wish to help. This can be simply turning up each week and supporting the teams by staying and watching each session, to helping with fund raising. Or even getting more involved with a team as a coach or team manager, administrator, tour manager etc. If you would like to get involved, please come along and speak to one of the committee members who can be found in the club house with blue rugby shirts, displaying the Vipers badge.
