Worcester Students vs Sheffield University (8/10/08)
Worcester got their BUCS campaign off to a brilliant 25-16 win over Sheffield. In perfect rugby conditions; Worcester played some of the best rugby they have played in a long time. The forwards dominated from the very first minute and the backs were equally superior with superb defence coming from every man on the pitch. Tries came from Matt Jones, Oli Grant and Gareth Davies, with Gareth Davies making up the remainder of the points with the boot.
Worcester Students vs Sheffield University (15/10/08)
Worcester welcomed Sheffield to Malvern with a scratched team. However the team showed great determination to come away with a 21 -13 win. The performance was not brilliant by any means but Worcester worked well to keep Sheffield out and keep points ticking over on the board. Tries came from James Southall, Matt Roberts and debutant Tom Baxter. Gareth Davies made up the remainder of the points again with the boot.
Worcester Students vs University of Birmingham (22/10/08)
Worcester narrowly missed their chance to keep up a 100% winning record as they lost 13-6 to Birmingham. Worcester's only points came from the boot of Gareth Davies as they struggled to make their dominance throughout the game pay off, for lengthy periods they had Birmingham pinned back in their own half but could not score due to Birmingham's stubborn defence.
