Tonbridge Juddians - What a bunch of GIVERS
The traditional British charity giver is the sitting down sort - its a lot easier that way. TJs do their bit when they can and where they can and the following are two current mega efforts on the chritable front, with strong rugby links

Don't forget to come along to their Race Night on Friday 4th April - tickets from the boys or Adam Hookway. £5 gets you a fish & chip supper and a great evening out in the cosy confines of your local rugby club. There is a suprise Race to bet on as well which is sure to add to the fun!?!

As some of you may know, I have managed to get myself roped into doing the National Three Peaks Challenge in June.
The N3PC is the attempt to climb the three highest peaks in Great Britain (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon) in 24hours, including the travelling time between each climb. On the plus side I don't have to carry a kayak or bike with me (or Lance for that matter!)
The event is sponsored by ntl:TW Business (part of the Virgin Media group) who has set each team an addition challenge of raising £3000 for the Foyer Federation, a charity that gives a helping hand to vulnerable young people.
So I would really appreciate it if you would sponsor me and my team with a monetary donation. Just click on the link or cut and paste into your browser and you can donate from the comfort of your desk/armchair/bed - http://www.justgiving.com/verticallychallenged2008
Please feel free to give me a call if you have any questions or abuse on 07973 350419
Tag Rugby Development Trust Africa 2008 - Tom Wagstaff is off to Africa in April for three months to coach tag rugby with the Tag Rugby Development Trust, a registered charity committed to coaching tag rugby to underpriviledged kids in developing countries. To raise money for the charity and the trip, Tom has just completed a sponsored run in the streets of Twickenham and selling some specially donated rugby equipment.
1) Sunday 30th March: Sponsored run through London
Tom has run 10k dressed as a human rugby ball, from Wasps rugby club (at Twyford avenue, not the stadium at High Wycombe), to Twickenham where he then went on the pitch to score under the posts. Some of the lads at TJs also ran with him and helped him celebrate the day.
2) We've also been given a load of paintball tickets and GILBERT rugby equipment to sell for the charity.
Paintball tickets: The Tickets are priced at £49.95 and admit 8 people into the Game site individually or as a group of 8 from 9:15 to 4:30pm. Paint balls have to be purchased at £10 for the first 100 and need to be purchased when the Game is booked. Buying extra Paint balls on the site for extras is very cheap if purchased in bulk.
GILBERT Equipment: body Armour/headgear/Shorts/Shirts/tracksuit T-sers/tops.
Please sponsor me at www.justgiving.com/tominafrica
Anyone who wants paintball tickets or GILBERT equipment please email an order to me and I will see what I can do, or wait till I have sent out the full price list.
To all those who have paid many thanks, it'll really makes a difference to a lot of kids lives!
