Under 20's
The 2010-2011 Suffolk U20s squad has been announced. This squad will be taking on Norfolk and Cambridgeshire in the U20s Inter-county Championship. These games will lead to selections for the Eastern Counties U20 squad. This is the beginning of the Aspirational England Pathway.

Suffolk U20 5 vs Cambridge Univeristy U21 44
A strong Cambridge University team came to Suffolk in full swing having not lost a game all season against very strong opposition and many of the team vying for a place in the Varsity squad against 'the other lot'. Suffolk started the brighter getting an early score but the Cambridge University pack dominated throughout the game and that physical dominance was the difference between the two teams. It was not however a disgraceful defeat as the arrival of such a strong opponent is usually reserved for the likes of Eastern Counties and much larger squads. The full match report will follow but the lads did extremely well and continued to show strength in character.
Cambridge University game confirmed
The Cambridge University game has now been confirmed for Sunday 14th November at 1pm KO. All players need to be at Stowmarket for 11.45am.

Suffolk defeat Norfolk at Thetford 20-5!
Suffolk completed an excellent victory against Norfolk by 20-5. A sunny yet cool day at Thetford saw the new Suffolk squad, who have only had one training session together, put in an excellent performance against their neighbours. In front of Eastern Counties selectors, Suffolk used their territorial advantage and possession to good use as they ran in two excellent tries and Sam Bixby, our kicking flanker putting the rest of the points on the board! Very well done lads, an excellent performance!
Suffolk U20s training will be on Wednesday 10th November 2010 at Woodbridge RFC from 7pm-9pm. Please ensure you contact Andrew if you cannot make it.
