The quality of the rugby was outstanding across 6 closely contested games.
I am sure that the Eastern Counties selectors are embarrassed with riches given the standard of play
The behaviour, both on and off the pitch, from the players and supporters alike, was first class.
May I thank Framlingham College for providing a first class playing surface, coffees, and tea for the parents, and a delicious post match meal for the boys – much appreciated.
A great rugby day, with the true winner being the game of rugby in Eastern Counties.

All those selected to the squad are entitled to buy a Suffolk tracksuit and a polo shirt. These are available to buy online from Tylers Sportswear www.tylers-sportswear.co.uk. MATCH KIT
If selected to play in a match against another county, then you will be provided on the day with Suffolk shirt, shorts and socks, for which there is no charge. These must be returned to your coach immediately after the match. PLEASE DO NOT KEEP THIS KIT – we don’t have the funds to replace it. If you play in a match against another county during the season you will be awarded a Suffolk tie, for which there is no charge. A charge will be made for a replacement for a lost tie.
TRAINING KIT AND TIES NEED TO BE LABELLED. EVERY SEASON ITEMS ARE LOST IN CLUB CHANGING ROOMS AND WE REGRET THAT SUFFOLK RUGBY CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BOYS’ KIT AND ANY REPLACEMENTS HAVE TO BE PAID FOR. PLEASE USE A NAMED BAG AND ENSURE THAT ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING ARE PUT IN YOUR BAG BEFORE LEAVING THE CHANGING ROOMS FOR TRAINING OR A MATCH. WE RECOMMEND THAT ALL CLOTHES ARE LABELLED AND THAT VALUABLES ARE NOT LEFT IN THE CHANGING ROOMS.
PLEASE NOTE
Due to some complaints last season, we ask that parents ensure their boys behave appropriately before and after training/matches. Boys should not be left at any Club until the coach has arrived. The only areas of the host clubs open to the boys are the bar (NO BOOTS under any circumstances) and changing rooms. All rubbish ie drink bottles, food wrappers etc MUST be put in bins or taken home. Please do not leave on the pitch or in the clubhouse.
Boys and accompanying siblings at training and matches are the responsibility of parents and siblings must be supervised at all times.
