SUFFOLK RUGBY UNION
Monday 13th June 2011 at 7.30 pm Ipswich YM
Present: Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, with representatives from Bury St. Edmunds, Clacton, Colchester, ECRU, Felixstowe, Hadleigh, Harwich, Haverhill, Ipswich YM, Mersea, Mistley, Southwold, Sudbury , Thorpeness, Thurston and Woodbridge. (Full list of names in minuting book)
1. Apologies: Gilbert, Holloway, Jupp, Kemble, Murray, Neal, Pierson, Place, & Rollings
2. Minutes of the AGM held on 14th June 2011 were approved.
3. Matters Arising: None
4. Hon Secretary’s Report is attached.
5. Hon Treasurer’s Report is attached.
6. Election of Officers
a) In the absence of the President, Rod Baxter, President Elect took the Chair and pointed out that all officers were prepared to re-stand. It was proposed by Collins and seconded Hanham that they be adopted ‘en bloc’. Carried unanimously. For clarification the officers are:
President: Rod Baxter
President Elect: TBA
Chairman: Barry Male
Secretary: Martin Peacock
Treasurer: Graham Marfleet
Youth Chairman: Ross Cowie
Competitions Chairman: Simon Lord
Vice President’s Representative: Steve Russell
7. AOB None. However, Underwood proposed a vote of thanks to all on the Committee for their hard work over the past year.
