Data Protection Notice for Players, Coaches, Volunteers and Referees
Sudbury Rugby Club endeavours to summarise the purposes for which your personal data will be processed (by the Club) when collecting your personal data from you for registration and related purposes.
This notice is simply to provide further details about the way in which the
Club, or the RFU may process so-called sensitive personal data relating to you.
Ethnicity data.
If collected from you, this will be used to identify and keep under review equality of opportunity at the Club and within the game, and (anonymously) for statistical and reporting purposes.
Disability data.
If collected from you, this will be used to identify and keep under review equality of opportunity at the Club and within the game, and (anonymously) for statistical and reporting purposes.
Injuries data.
This may be collected by the Club directly from you, for example through our Reportable Injuries Scheme. It will be used (anonymously) for statistical and reporting purposes and may be used in connection with any subsequent legal claims.
Criminal records data.
The RFU is registered with the Criminal Records Bureau to assist it in ensuring that those who take up appointments do not pose a risk to the children in its care. The RFU may therefore process criminal records data disclosed by the CRB. This will be processed in accordance with the CRB’s Code of Practice for Registered Persons.
Anti-Doping Data
This data may be collected from you by the Club either through a TUE application or through sample collection and analysis, if you are within RFU’s national registered testing pool. It will be used for the purpose of administering the RFU’s anti-doping programme and may be used by the RFU or the Club (or any other organisations involved in doping control) for the purposes of any disciplinary proceedings brought against you for anti-doping rule violation. Your data (including medical data) may be passed to the IRB, WADA, UK Sport and other organisations or individuals involved in the administration of the doping control process or concerned with the results of that process.
