Stone RUFC pays tribute to two of it's Members 
After the game against Rugeley on
Saturday (11/09/04), two of Stone's most prominent members were presented with
honorary lifetime membership of the club.
Dave Taylor and Ian Foster were both recognised
for their contributions to the club both on and off the field.
"Ian
Foster is a founder member who has been a positive force in developing the
strength and character of the club. He has served as chairman for several years
and has inspired many members to value what has been achieved. Dave Taylor has
been equally as influential. Dave has served on the committee for a number of
years and has led us onto the field as captain for more seasons than any other
member. It is significant that Dave has been awarded The David Jones Clubman of
the Year Award every year since the award was first made in 1999. This season
the committee showed their appreciation for these two members by awarding them
honorary lifetime membership of the club." Steve Galloway,
