Congratulations to award winners at the recent Annual Dinner.
1st team player of the year went to Phil Evans, who has had an excellent season. Phil attitude and commitment to the club is second to none, with him probably been the top attendee at training and on matchdays this year. An example to us all.
2nd team award went to Gary Smith, a true talent of a rugby player. Gary has promised to look to play first team next year and the team and the club will be all the better for that decision!
Young player of the year went to Danny Price who has been impressive in the second team, closely edging out Martin Birch who has made the step up to the first team this year.
Clubman of the year - went to a woman - Mrs Flaherty took the award for her fundraising efforts for the club.
Ste Flaherty must be congratulated on an excellent dinner. Our thanks also go to Andy Gregory who was an excellent speaker and was well recieved by all guests.
