How far we have come ....
The Club's first home ground was at Victoria Park, Hackney and they shared the Mitford Castle as their headquarters with two clubs that are now long defunct - Arrow RFC and Rovers RFC. From its beginning the Ravens could always field at least two XV'x and a footnote in the first fixture list states categorically, `Play wet or fine'.
In 1927/28 the Club's home ground and club house became the newly refurbished Cranbrook Castle, The Drive, Ilford.
Around 1988/89 the Club received notice that the site the Club was on was being sold for redevelopment and had to find a new home and so it was that at the end of the 1990/91 season the Ravens moved to the Ford Sports and Social Club in Aldborough Road South, Ilford.
The Ravens stayed at Fords for approximately 3 seasons then for financial reasons moved on in 1993/94 to the Sports Ground alongside the gas works in Stevenage Road, East Ham.
The Ravens didn't stay long at Stevenage Road (a season possibly two) before returning to Fords where they remained until the end of the 2008/09 season.
The Ravens then spent 2 seasons Goodmayes Sports & Social Club, Goodmayes Hospital, Barley Lane but have this season 2011/12 returned to Fords Sports & Social, Aldborough Road South, Ilford, Essex IG3 8HG.
