Experience proves too much for Paviors/Tamworth
The first matches of 2008 saw both of the girls sides at home entertaining combination Paviors/Tamworth teams in both age ranges.
The U18's played first and recorded a fairly comfortable 31 points to 10 win over an opposition that contained National Talent Development Group player Hannah Walker- Smart as well as East Midlands players Laura Whyman and Sarah Roberts.
Scorers for North Hykeham were Mica Grossett with two tries and three conversions. Emily Belshaw, Jess Milner and Hannah Lewin also scored one try apiece.

The Under 15's played three 15 minuite sessions to allow the opposition to field a development squad in the middle period. Paviors/Tamworth contested well in the forward exchanges in all three sessions, It was only when North Hykeham played the ball into spaces that their experience and pace came to the fore.
Scorers for the Under 15's were Paula Smith and Rachel Jones with two tries each, Laura Ware and Tanya Bird scored one try each with Carla Clubb managing five conversions to rack up 40 points during the course of all three sessions. The opposition never gave up and were rewarded with a try from NLD centre Bethany James following a maul close to the hosts try line. The final score was a 40 points to 5 win for North Hykeham.
