Now in its fifteenth year, the North Division Under 14s State School competition has become a firmly established event and is considered to be one of the highlights of the Northern Counties schools' rugby playing calendar.
As winners or finalists in their County Championship, County Cup or their regional Festivals, the event brings together a school from Cheshire, Cumbria, Durham and Northumberland joins two schools from both Lancashire and Yorkshire to build the eight-team competition.
Over the years the teams and players who have played in the Festival have shown a lot of skill, commitment and passion. Hutton GS, who have qualified from Lancshire in 2008, currently head the leaderboard having winning the event three times.
