|
Now in its seventeenth year, the North Division Under 14s State School competition has become a firmly established event and is considered to be one of the highlights of the Northern Counties schools' rugby playing calendar.
As winners or finalists in their County Championship, County Cup or their regional Festivals, the event brings together a school from Cheshire, Cumbria, Durham and Northumberland joins two schools from both Lancashire and Yorkshire to build the eight-team competition.
The 2010 Festival
As with the 2009 Festival, the event is due to be held in Northumberland. The county to hosts the following two years will be determined at the 2010 Annual general Meeting.
The format remains as two 'round-robin' pools of four teams ends with the two pool winners competing in the final.
A trophy is awarded to the successful side, and medals are presented to the finalists. Past winners...
