COMMUNITY RUGBY FOR
JOHN RYAN
WHEN: SUNDAY 29th August 2010 from 12pm until late
Two charity rugby games are begin held at HENDON RFC on the above date in honour of Hendon
Head Coach coach and 4 times Captain John Ryan, who has Motor Neurone Disease.
We at Hendon RFC are inviting EVERYONE who has ever met John Ryan, or even if you are just
part of the local community and are at a loose end that day, to pop up to the club and say hello. You
will be warmly welcomed, even if you can only pass through. There is ample parking at the club or
along Copthall way.
Rugby matches kick off at 12:30pm and at 2:30pm. There will be a well stocked bar with cold beer,
ale, wines and spirits, live music and entertainment, and probably plenty of familiar faces.. Hot food
will also be available from 2pm onwards.
We are seeking to attract members of the local Community, Rugby and Sports fans as well as all
those associated with Hendon rugby club. Entry is totally free, and the event should be one of the
most enjoyable of 2010.

Bus 221 from Mill Hill to Pursley way and a 5 minute walk (221) towards Copthall Stadium.
Driving: On the A1 from 5 Ways Corner head East (towards Finchley) and turn left at the Kwik Fit
Garage (you will see a metallic bridge).
If heading from Mill Hill Broadway turn off Page Street towards the swimming pool and turn right,
park at the stadium and continue walking.
