Lancashire Rugby has consistently supported an Under 14s squad throughout the period when other counties dropped all representative teams below Under 15s.
Thanks to matches against Essex, North Wales, Leicestershire - amongst others - this pathway through county rugby has now returned thanks to the recommendations of the new 'Schools of Rugby' arrangements.
Following the inter-District matches, a final selection will be made in January followed by two matches including one fixture against North Wales, for the 'Alan Pennington Trophy'.
The opening squad has been announced, prior to the first match at Wrexham on Sunday 24th February, against North Wales. The training venue (Tarleton) has still to be confirmed, but check back for more information. The first session is scheduled for Monday 28th January, starting at 6.30pm.
