The 36th Lancashire Cup Final of modern times, played at Fylde on Bank Holiday Monday, saw Sedgley Park win the cup 24-14 and claim their fourth Lancashire Senior Cup title and revenge for losing the 2001 clash at the hands of their Manchester neighbours.
A third success in seven years came courtesy of tries from Tim Fourie, Jamie Albinson, Adam Newton and Phil Jones, along with two conversions from Matt Riley.
