Lancashire completed the third and final game of their Canadian tour with an overwhelming victory over Toronto Xtreme. The spectators were treated to an exhibition of open rugby with five tries being scored by wingers Royle and Kerfoot.

The foundations were laid by the pack which was well led by Du Plessis.
They rucked and mauled to produce a stream of quality ball which enabled the backs to show their skills. Planchant was once again man of the match in an overall excellent team performance.
First half tries were scored by Du Plessis, Payne, Planchant, Nutt, Kerfoot and Royle (2). Nutt converted three of these. Tomlinson put the home side on the score board with a penalty to complete the first half with a score of Extreme 3 Lancashire 41.
Lancashire introduced their replacements at the interval and the tries kept coming.
Platt scored the first and Toronto replied with a good try from Appleton, which Tomlinson converted.
Tries followed from Payne, Kerfott, Royle, Palmer and Martin Scott, two of which were converted by Bailey.
President Maurice Parker was delighted with the performance of the team especially the younger players who fronted up, particularly against The Rock.
Altogether a very successful tour.
