NEW LANCASHIRE KIT
We can only apologise for the failure to supply the last two remaining items of Samurai kit, the kit bag itself and the training top. All players should have their 16 Group polo-shirt, warm-up shirt, tracksuit pants, navy playing shorts, plus county socks and county tie (green stripe).
Samurai is the new county kit supplier, and all the items ordered were to said to be 'from stock'. It appears that the stock levels have taken much longer to replenish than was anticipated. Once delivered, and embroidered appropriately, they will be despatched as speedily as possible.
SIX COUNTIES FESTIVAL TWO
SIX COUNTIES FESTIVAL ONE
FESTIVAL at SKIPTON
The Cumbria and Durham fixtures are single match occasions. The Cheshire fixture on Sunday 25th November (ko 2.00pm) is the second Six Counties' North 16 Group Festival day, this to be held at Skipton Rugby Club.
All the North Division's 16 Group selectors will be attending both Festival days, and these matches will form the basis of their selections made for the North Division to be announced after the Cheshire match (25th November).
It is important that players are properly fit for this match, both for their own benefit and for those in the team around them. Please arrange to withdraw from your Saturday fixture, if at all possible, to ensure you are focused for the important selection match on Sunday afternoon.
POST CHRISTMAS
Whilst the 16 Group players will still be involved in the Schools of Rugby sessions after Christmas, the main focus will shift from the 16 Group coaches to the 18 Group Development Squad (formerly known as Under 17s).
This should assist the transition into 18 Group, and matches will still continue for the Under 16s in the Spring, and on tour in Scotland with matches on Friday evening, 11th April, and on the Sunday afternoon, 13th April.
Players from the 16s Group District Developments squads will also be invited. For details of the 24-man Scotland squad which includes 3 boys brought in from the Merseyside Development Squad, two from the Manchester list and two from the North Lancashire Under 16s, Click here...
Other players, injured during the season or for other reason unavailable for selection, were contacted before Chairman of Selectors, John Whelan named the final touring party.
