A new look for the Lancashire website |
The developers of RugbyFirst have introduced a new header style, which is available to all clubs.
Coinciding with this, a new front page has been introduced on to the Lancashire website, and the County's official website address has changed.
Whilst all the attributes of Lancashire's RugbyFirst site continue, Lancashire's offical web presence is under the umbrella of www.lancashirerugby.com.
The latest news and information can now be found on The Front Page.
This page, to which is attached
- the 'Bulletin Board' with links to rugby charities,
- some useful reference points and forms to download, and
- archived news for the website
will be devoted to occasional features on aspects of Lancashire Rugby.
Any articles or comments for this page are welcome, to be submitted in the usual way to lancsrugby@aol.com
Essential guidance for Club Webmasters
 |
|
Every rugby club has its own RugbyFirst Website, behind which is the important information that the RFU regards as essential.
Club Webmasters (who have logged on as such) can find the tuition pages on the RugbyFirst Webmasters website Click here...
Currently Touchline, the official newspaper of the RFU, is distributed to Honorary Secretary, Fixture Secretary and Treasurers at all clubs.
The contact details for all of these roles are taken from the RFU game-wide administration system RugbyFirst.
The information to ensure that clubs receive their International Ticket allocation, and all RFU communications relating to the adminstration of our clubs, is also based on the data stored on RugbyFirst.
So make sure you keep your details up to date, as you may be missing out on this and other important information.
For further information on updating roles in RugbyFirst, go directly through to the link on http://clubs.rfu.com/clubs/ or www.rfu.com. You will find RugbyFirst by scrolling down near the bottom on the left hand side under Community Rugby.
For technical assistance, please contact Chris on the RugbyFirst helpdesk on 0870 999 2003. The Helpdesk is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 1100 – 1500 and 1600 – 1930. For full RugbyFirst guidelines and step by step information, please Click here...

For those members of the rugby family accessing your club for information about travelling to your club, playing for your club, volunteering to help or coach through the 'Play On' and VRugby campaigns, or from RFU.COM itself, this is what the public sees.
Whilst the look and feel of RugbyFirst will continue to be improved in the coming months, the introduction of the new Header facility is one way for your club to improve its gateway to public view.
