The grants need to be matched on a pound for pound basis. If clubs are interested in applying then please make contact with your RFU Regional Funding and Facilities Manager in the first instance to discuss the project in more detail.
The RFU also have a loan scheme that is available to clubs in level 3 and 4 which has the ability to make loans of up to £100,000 to clubs for capital projects. Currently the loan scheme is interest bearing with the interest level set at the Bank of England base rate plus one per cent, capped at a maximum of five per cent. Again if clubs are interested in applying to this scheme then please make contact with your Regional Funding and Facilities Manager in the first instance to discuss the project and the process for application.
