Caught in the act...
Warrington man seen escaping with the silverware!
Mike Cornelia, another Warrington-based Lancashire President presides over a well-earned County Championship victory.
Warrington Presidents have made a habit of lifting the County Championship, four of the last four Warrington incumbants enjoying
that honour.
In addition to Mike Cornelia lifting Lancashire's record-breaking 18th trophy, James Bradley (1947/48), Ces Burch (1972/73) and Bryan England (1992/93) also presided over successful campaigns.
Reg Locker (1955/56) was the only one of the five not to taste championshiop success, although Lancashire held the trophy when he came into office.
However, for Reg not all was lost. He went to become President of the RFU in 1967/68!
