Rugby World Cup comes to Hoppers 
"Old Bill", the William Webb Ellis trophy picked up England's victorious
rugby squad at Sydney in November will be at Preston Grasshoppers on Monday,
16th February.
Details of the events will follow, but the Rugby Football Union will site
their promotional display unit at the ground from 10.00am until 3.30pm, in
advance of the heavily protected Rugby World Cup display which arrives at
Lightfoot Green at 3.30pm.
Also on show will be the RBS Six Nations Cup and four other trophies
currently held by England Rugby.
The World Cup winning squad included, former players Will Greenwood, Iain
Balshaw and Paul Grayson, all awarded the MBE in the New Year Honours.
PS Neither Martin Johnson nor Jonny Wilkinson are expected at
Hoppers!
