Results and Leagues 2010-2011
First XV
This was a difficult year with HAC newly promoted into the League sweeping all before them (and also winning the RFU National Cup) and London Welsh Amateurs new to League rugby not far behind them. Hackney were much improved from last season achieving third position. Hendon however, did finish off the League season in style with a five try bonus point win against bottom club Old Grammarians by 32 points to 14 and finished in seventh position equal on League points with the two clubs above them. Second XV
On the final Saturday (16th April) of the season the Seconds played Borehamwood in the Herts Middlesex Merit Table 3 Plate Finals. After a low scoring first half which ended at three points apiece Borehamwood upped their display and scored an unanswered 27 points to win by 30 points to three. This was a disappointing year in the Merit Table where the standrad improves year on year but we played every one of our scheduled games (unlike many clubs in the table) and have higher hopes for next season.

Results and Leagues 2009-2010
1st XV
The First XV finished fourth in Herts Middlesex League One having been promoted last season. This was a reasonable result but early losses by small margins meant that they could have finished higher.
They did achieve success, however in the Middlesex Senior League Cup beating Wasps FC in the final. (See Season 2009-2010 First XV link.)
2nd XV
Whilst on the face of it fifth place in the Merit Table after two successive promotions was a successful season for the seconds, overall when taking account of friendly games they lost more than they won.
Paddy Short, the captain said "We introduced a lot of new players both to the game and the club and we provided half a dozen of last year's squad into the First XV. We enjoyed most of our rugby and the social side of the game but next season hopefully we will have a more experienced squad for the new captain Brian Gilbride to lead."
