Players' Presentation Evening
The Annual Presentation Evening was held in our sponsor's pub, The Bodhran 8th May and a large turn out of players enjoyed a noisy evening of celebration of their team mates achievements during the season.
The President, David Gershlick presented all of the members of last season's First XV with plaques to commemorate their success in winning the League title and gaining promotion. Coaches John Ryan and Dave Maskell said that whilst the season overall had been successful with fourth place in the League after promotion and winning the Cup it could have been better with more commitment and self belief.
Dave Maskell taking over as Head Coach said that next season would be just as hard but we had the players and the skill to push for promotion.
1st XV
Brian O'Regan was the Most Improved Player of the season and Michael Blake the Player of the season
There were special awards for coaches John Ryan and Dave Maskell and Team Manager Dennis Connolly and Eric Butler who is standing down as First XV captain.
2nd XV
Captain Paddy Short presented Rob Haugie with the Most Improved Player of the season and Helio Vicente the Player of the season
Paddy and Steve Gaukrodger team manager received a special award from the team from Danny Hayes (pictured above)
