RFU GRAND DRAW RAISED OVER £900 IN 2009 - CAN WE BEAT THAT IN 2010?
The RFU Grand Draw is a great way for the Club to raise funds and for our members and their friends to have the chance of winning £10,000. The Club is once again participating in the 2010 Draw and tickets have been sent to all our members and VPs as well as selling them from behind the bar.
GIFT AIDING YOUR DONATIONS
The generosity of our members was seen last season with the incredible response to our Treasurer's appeal. Donations large and small totalling £5,000 came from members past and present and were helped by the taxman who contributed over £500 because of our ability to use Gift Aid. Of course clubhouse improvement is a continuous process and so is the need for fund raising and it is great to see that our members are continuing their generosity - with the help of the taxman.
