
Gainsborough Rugby Club celebrated their end of season with the presentation of awards following the Presidents match on Sunday.
The team went to Libertys for after match refreshment and the presentation of the seasons trophies.
Paul Hooten won the Jack and Jill trophy for the member who had done the most for the club over the last year.
Wayne Sendall won the captains trophy for player of the year and Ziggy won the players player of the year.
Jerry Thorold was presented with a silver salver for all the work he has done for GRUFC having been second team captain, Chairman and Secretary in the 18 years he has been with the club, Jerry leaves the town in August to live in Cornwall.
Mark Ellis snr was awarded with a ten year tankard
Snowy Godfrey who is now President and was a founder member of the club when it was reformed in 1974 was presented with Honorary Life Membership and a silver salver in recognition of his service to the club.
Matt Burbridge was voted the Best New Comer to the Club
