The last few weeks have been tough for the All Blacks with injuries and work commitments keeping several key players from travelling to Skegness including 1st team captain Gareth Woods. Travelling with 14 men Gainsborough's commitment was positive the forwards lead by Andre Russell and the Ellis brothers was fantastic and the back's tackled like there lives depended onit, only going down by 7 points to nil at half time. The second half saw further changes to the All Blacks with acting skipper Vernon Goude adding further to there injure list and having to limp off. The final score was 38 -0 eighth Skegness adding four scores in the last quarter showing the superior fitness and extra players. Gainsborough's man of the match was Mark Ellis Jnr who played in the centres for the first time this season. Captain Vernon Goude was very pleased with these player who travelled and is looking forward to a home game this weekend against Horncastle.
