U12's Development Sessions
Introduction to rugby sessions to start 20th April 2008
Welcome to Five Ways Old Edwardians Junior Section. We are committed to developing young peoples sporting and social skills through the game of rugby union in a safe and fun environment.
If you would like to find out more about the club, are interested in trying rugby for the first time or want to play club rugby email Al Rodgers, Club Coach Co-ordinator at a.t.rodgers@bham.ac.uk for more information.
All of our players and coaches have signed up to the clubs code of conduct, equity statement and Child Protection Policies - you can read these in the SOA and Welfare section of this site. When you join our club you will be asked to sign up to these statements to ensure that we provide the best possible environment for children and young people to enjoy and succeed in sport.
On the 20th April we will be running the first of five introduction to playing rugby sessions. The emphasis of which will be on learning through play. If you wish to attend please let us know 7 days in advance so that we can make arrangements for the day.
We have recently appointed a Welfare Officer to look after the needs of this age group. Her details will be posted on this site shortly.
I will put the session plans on this website a week before the 20th April so that both parents and children know what will be happening.
I look forward to meeting you soon
Al Rodgers
Club Coach Co-ordinator.
