
THE most modern administration system in British sport was launched on the 6th October 2006 by the Rugby Football Union. RugbyFirst is a game-wide internet-based tool to help run rugby at all levels, with the details of more than one million coaches, referees, players and volunteers held on a single system.
Eastern Counties held training sessions around the region with over 80% of clubs attending and now has one the highest take up rates for Clubs using the system.

In the first instance RugbyFirst users should go to www.rfu.com/clubs and check the Quick Reference Guides and FAQs to see if that resolves their problem.

Failing that the RFU runs a dedicated website helpdesk is available to support RugbyFirst Users. The helpdesk will be operational on the following days and times:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 1200-1600 and 1700-2030
The helpdesk can be contacted either by 'phone on 0870 999 2003 (calls charged at National Rate) or by e-mail at rugbyfirstsupport@therfu.com. The target response time is 24 hours.
Training
Once a user has logged in an e-Learning button appears on the menu bar. This gives access to easy to use interactive tutorials on how to use the variou modules in RugbyFirst.
Additionally ECRU will run RugbyFirst refresher workshops each season suitable for new users and fo exisiting users to get the most out of the system. Workshop dates and venues will be published on this page and on the Notice Board page.
