HEINEKEN 10s
After a successful first year, the Heineken 10s, a new social rugby tournament will kick off again this autumn. Aimed at clubs’ lower sides it is a national club 10s tournament in England, with 15 different clubs nationwide hosting matches for over 3,500 amateur players.
A one day Rugby 10s festival will be hosted by 15 different clubs across the country. Each event will produce a winner. One of these lucky winners will be chosen to receive a substantial legacy donation.
Cambridge RUFC will be hosting the Heineken 10s on Saturday 5 September.
Sixteen teams (of no more than 15 players) will compete in the tournament which will culminate in a party at the club in the evening. The party will include a BBQ and some free Heineken for all participants. Teams taking part can expect prizes, stash, free beer and entertainment laid on.
More information about the Heineken 10s can be found at HeinekenRugby.co.uk and those interested in playing can register by emailing heineken10s@fstrk.com or contact:
