Firstly, congratulations on a well deserved 18-7 win on the 11th November 2009. Both teams fought hard and demonstrated good skills, pace and effort which enabled the independent selectors to assess ability and performance at a good level. Both teams showed good ball handling in the very wet conditions and are to be commended for their attitude and good discipline.
On behalf of the Saxons Squad I would like to thank the following…
North Dorset Rugby Club (especially John and Terry) for hosting the district games and for their excellent hospitality - Parents and Carers for their support and good liaison - Medics and First Aiders for looking after those who received knocks during the games - Coaches for their excellent training and coaching sessions – D&W’s Referees and Linesmen.
Finally; I would like to thank ALL of the guys who trialled, the guys who made the development squad and the winning 22 who represented us, for their dedication and commitment to Dorset and Wilt’s Rugby Union.....
