Weymouth RFC held a volunteers BBQ to say thank you to all of the volunteers for their hard work and dedication throughout the season, Weymouth RFC like many volunteer organisations would not function without the hard work of the volunteers. The club currently has over 80 active volunteers helping out across all areas of the club from the Under 6`s coaching through to the Senior XV, cleaning the floors, cooking the food and working behind the bar.
On the night we presented Volunteer Week certificates to Matt Goldsmith, Chris Calton, John Beare, Liz Bell (above),and Jason & Karen Weston( immediately below) for their contribution throughout the season. The club also presented Lian Berry with a RFU valued volunteer certificate for his hard work over many years at the club.
