Devon RFU competitions structure
The leagues, cups and merit tables are overseen by the Competitions committee of the Devon RFU. There are three main cup competitions for the senior players that are run by the DRFU, the Devon Senior, Intermediate and Junior Cup competitions. They are all drawn at the AGM with the top ranked 12 clubs being in the Devon Senior Cup, the next 12 in the Devon Intermediate Cup and the rest in the Devon Junior Cup.. The clubs are placed in their order of seniority according to their league status after promotion and relegation for the previous season has taken place. Clubs wishing to join or leave the competitions must notify the Competitions secretary by 1st. June before draw is made.

Devon SENIOR VASE Semi finals should have been TIVERTON v. (Ivybridge) and (Withycombe) v. KINGSBRIDGE on 21/11/09 but as the Clubs in brackets withdrew from the competition, Tiverton and Kingsbridge will contest the final on April 24th. (or if both sides agree November 21). Draw for the venue will be made by the Devon RFU President shortly.
Devon SENIOR PLATE Semi finals of this competition will be contested on January 2nd. 2010 between the four 2nd. round losers from the Senior Cup. Final is on April 24th. 2010. Draw for these matches will be made in due course.
