1. All players must be members of the club. Membership forms are available from the club on Sunday mornings. The membership fees for this age group in 2009/10 were £5.00 with a further £1.50 payable per session (please give the money to the lead coach on the day) - fees for 2010/11 to be advised.
2. All players of Rugby Union must be registered with the R.F.U. Registration forms are available from the membership officer, Mrs Sandra Stainton, at the clubhouse on Sunday mornings. These forms must be returned with 2 passport-sized photos.
It is a requirement of the insurance conditions that all players are both members of the club and R.F.U. registered.
3. Children can start in this age group from their 4th Birthday.
4. Sessions will start from 10.00am on Sunday mornings at Grasmoor Sports Centre. The sessions will last for no more than 1 hour with opportunities for breaks. They will involve basic ball skills, running skills and having fun.
5. Parents of children in this age group are required to stay with their children at all times whilst at the club.
6. All sessions will be subject to a qualified coach being available and subject to weather conditions. We are limited to a ratio of 1 coach for every 8 children and to maintain this ratio the coach may ask for parents to help. We encourage our parents to help out in this way so please do as it helps the players and is an enjoyable experience.
7. If at any time parents wish to withdraw their children from a session they can do so.
8. Please let the coach know who will be attending with your child and if this person will be taking them home after the session. Please also let the coach know if the named person changes for any reason.
9. The club has a set of Codes of Conduct that governs the behaviour expected of coaches, officials, players & parents/spectators. If you wish to view these codes please speak to the Hon. Secretary, Bill Ford, at the clubhouse.
