In a hard fought game in snowy conditions at Grassmoor, Cockermouth turned in another good display of rugby, finishing off the season with a fine 35-0 victory, having lost just one home game all season. Cockermouth opened the scoring when Ben Swift made a good break and slipped the ball to the impressive Brett Malloy to score. Then a good burst of speed from Robert Ward provided a second try for Cockermouth. Big Ben Agnew powered over for the third try and just before the break another good move was finished off again by Brett Malloy to give Cockermouth a 20-0 half time lead.
