Follow signs for the A66 to Penrith, Keswick & then Workington.
After driving alongside Bassenthwaite Lake on a bendy dual carriageway the road straightens, pass a turning on your left for “Wythop Mill” & take the next left signed “Lorton & Buttermere.” Stay on this road till a junction & turn right signed “Lorton & Buttermere,” keep on & take the next right signed “Cockermouth 2.” Follow this road (you will be able to see the posts on your left) until a 30mph sign & turn immediately left up to CRUFC.
