Girls rugby has been taking place at Cockermouth for several years and has gone from strength to strength. The squads are open to girls aged 13 to 18 (school years 8 and above) and complete beginners are very welcome. Matches are played locally where possible and league matches are played in the Northern girls league.
From complete beginners our girls have progressed amazingly and now include regional representatives and a particularily good set of forwards.
Training is on Thursday nights at 6.00pm and Sunday mornings at 10.00am.
