~ Lostock ~
Chorley 2nds 3
Lostock 36
with captain Phil callander ill, prop Chris reed took over the mantle against a very strong promotion pushing lostock outfit,
early on with exchanges close, lostock powered over, with the lostock pack taking control early on Chorley knew this would be a long afternoon, with the lineout’s going well with Chris turner and Phil Bristol holding there own, then injuries hit the Chorley side, firstly tony Dodd, then Dom leatherbarrow, then captain Chris reed had to leave the pitch, Chorley with a very young back line were stretched, stand off Steve bryan having a excellent game at standoff as was Paul the physio at centre/flanker, but unfortunately the tries were coming and they sure did, this was a very hard game to play with a weakened side.
There is a feast of rugby for the 2nds next weekend, on Saturday home to clitheroe 3ko
then Monday home to Thornton cleveleys 3ko
