Camborne suffered a rare defeat in a hard fought local derby at Trewirgie.
Veteran flanker Paul Launder and lock Tristan Laity scored tries for the Cherry & Whites with scrum half Scott Lake adding a penalty.
For the winners wing Scott Bristow had two touchdowns with scrum half Dave Barber adding another and kicking two conversions

Camelford 12
Camborne completed the Merit Table double over Camelford who were making their first ever visit to Crane Park.
For the winners scrum half Dave Macdonald touched down a hat trick of tries with other scores coming from wing Dan Isaacs 2, fly half Matt Downing, wing Tom Jenkins and centre Scott Powell. Downing landed five conversions and a brace of penalties to finish with a 21 point personal tally.

Camborne picked up a late fixture with the Pirates Amateurs coming out on top in a full blooded encounter at the Recreation Ground.
For the winners there were three tries touched down by prop Jamie Moore, hooker Mark Tonkin and centre Christian Barbagallo. Fly half Dan Arthur landed the solitary conversion.

Camborne had to work hard for their victory in this local derby Merit Table clash.
Full back Stuart Woods converted his own try to put the visitors in front and near the end scrum half Dave Macdonald added a penalty kick.

Camborne went down to a heavy defeat against a very strong Saints 2nd string at Alexandra Road. The reserves went into this game having just 1 replacement with several of the squad away with an injury hit 1st team and found themselves 31 – 0 down at the break. To their credit they never gave up and outscored the fishermen 12 – 5 in the second half when the fitness of the young team showed.
All the Cherry & Whites points came from promising fly half Dan Arthur, the youngster crossed for a brace of tries one of which he converted.

Camborne deservedly triumphed by the narrowest of margins in this top of the Merit Table clash at Crane Park.
For the winners prop Adam Coombes, lock Ben Walters and scrum half Dave Macdonald scored tries with full back Andy Hitchens kicking two conversions.

Camborne ran out winners in a dour Merit Table encounter at the Sports Centre.
Lock Lee Pengilly, prop Akiva Eaton and fly half Dan Arthur scored the Cherry & Whites tries with Arthur also landing a conversion.

Camborne recorded a comprehensive victory at Crane Park to complete a clean sheet of Cherry & White wins on a very successful Saturday for the Club.
For the winners scrum half Dave Macdonald bagged a brace of tries with other scores coming from prop Adam Coombes, hooker Tim Anthoney, centre Kelvin Smitham, prop Dave Richards, lock Matt Shaw, fly half Nick Pellowe and lock Ben Walters. Full back Andy Hitchens kicking a solitary conversion.

Touchdowns for the winners came from full back Stuart Woods, wing Matt Ogden, centre Scott Powell, fly half Nick Pellowe, prop Dave Richards and no 8 Lee Hooper.
Woods was on target with the conversions.

Camborne 2nd's 61 - 0 Truro 2nd's
The Cherry & Whites reserves showed just how much strength in depth there is in the club with this 9 try Merrit Table thumping of Truro even with five players away with the 1st team.
Scrum half Matt Rapson (brother of James) and no.8 Martin Goldsworthy (brother of James) grabbed a couple of tries each with other scores comming from Fly Half Dan Arthur, Flanker Kevin Penrose, Wing Warren Trestrail, Full Back Leigh Issacs, and centre Christian Barbagallo. Arthur put in an almost faultless performance with the boot kicking 8 convertions giving him a total of 21 pionts in the game.

Towns reserves dominated from start to finish in this 11am curtain raiser at Redruth,
Stoner makes a break against Reds The front row, a daunting sight for the opposition
Camborne came out on top in the Annual Boxing Day morning clash between the respective 2nd strings.
For the winners Lock Lee Pengilly scored a brace of tries with other touchdowns coming from No 8 Martin Goldsworthy and full back Jack Dixon. Centre Adam Notman added a solitary conversion.

Penzance/Newlyn 0
Camborne’s 2nd string pulled away in the 2nd half of this Merit Table clash after leading 5-0 at the break after a hard fought 1st period.
Centre Adam Notman took the try scoring honours running in a hat trick with other touchdowns coming from left wing Dan Arthur, flanker Kevin Penrose, fly half Adam Copeland and right wing Jonny Cook. Arthur improved the final scoreline by adding three conversions.

St Ives Res 24
Camborne took on a late fixture against a strong Saints 2nd string and battled hard in defeat at a muddy Crane Park. The side lacked the whole of last weeks excellent back row with Skipper Tim Anthoney taking the whistle in the absence of an appointed referee and Penrose & Oates playing for the reserves. Whilst full back Dan Issacs was the sole try scorer for the home side Town put in a gutsy performance against a St Ives team containing a large number of their Cornwall Cup Winning side from last season.

Camborne proved a little too strong for the visitors in this local derby at Crane Park.
The winners ran in ten tries through flanker Jason Mitchell 2, wing Scott Lake 2, prop Ben Walters, scrum half Matt Rapson, No 8 Kevin Penrose, centre Nick Pellowe, full back Stuart Woods and centre James Richards with Lake booting two conversions and Woods adding three more.
Centre Scott Harris kicked a consolation penalty for Veor.

Camborne’s forward pack laid the foundations for a hard fought victory at the Mennaye Field.
Try scoring hero for the Cherry & Whites was young flanker Akiva Eaton with a hat trick of scores two of which wing Adam Notman converted in addition to slotting a brace of penalties.

Camborne’s blend of youth and experience proved much too potent for plucky Bodmin at Crane Park.
For the winners centre James Richards bagged a hat trick of tries with fly half Dave Macdonald and replacement Scott Lake each getting a brace. Other touchdowns came from veteran lock Lee Hooper, wing Matt Ogden, centre Nick Pellowe, scrum half Matt Rapson, wing Andrew Oates and replacement Scott Powell with Macdonald added six conversions.

Camborne had to work extremely hard for their victory at a windswept Wadebridge.
The winners bagged three unconverted tries through prop Ben Walters, scrum half Dave Macdonald and centre James Richards.

Camborne 3rd's 20 - 10 School of Mines
The Cherry & Whites had a hard fought win against the students under floodlights in front of a large crowd at Crane park on Wednesday evening. It was an entertaining enjoyable match with both sides giving 100% and Town just doing enough to give them victory. Camborne's points came curtisy of tries from Kevin Penrose and Andrew Vinnicombe plus 2 conversions and 2 penalties from Matt Downing.
Next Wednesday evening (20th) see's the Cherry & Whites reserves take on Cornwall Fire Brigade under lights at 7.30 on Crane Park. The teams should contain a few ex county players between them so give the soaps a miss and come along to enjoy a good game of rugby.

Camborne 2nd's 30 - 12 Cornwall Fire Brigade
This was a fast paced entertaining match played in the right spirit under the floodlight on Crane Park on Wednesday evening. Camborne started strongly and were 10 - 0 up in as many minutes with tries from Hooker Mark Tonkin and scrum half Christian Barbagallo. The brigade never gave up and got back into the with a well worked try which left the half time score at 15 - 7.
In the second period Town managed 2 further tries from prop Jammie Moore and wing Jonny Cook with the Brigade picking up
an unconverted try to leave Camborne worthy winners on the night.
Next weeks floodlit match is on Monday evening at 7pm when the Cherry and Whites under 17's take on their counterparts from Liskeard & Looe, some come along and support the next generation of Camborne players.

Camborne continued their good form with victory at Wheal Gerry to follow a hard fought midweek floodlit home win against Camborne School of Mines.
Prop Adam Coombes, centre Kelvin Smitham, flanker Tim Anthoney and scrum half Christian Barbagallo each bagged a brace of tries for the winners. Other touchdowns came from full back Stuart Woods, wing Matt Ogden and fly half Dave Macdonald with Woods on target with five conversions.
For a spirited home side wing Liam Laity and full back Adam Notman scored tries both of which fly half Scott Harris converted.

Camborne picked up a late fixture at Wheal Gerry lending the home side several players to enable all to enjoy an open game of rugby.
For the home side fly half Simon Issacs booted a solitary penalty.
Prop Adam Coombes bagged a brace of tries with other touchdowns coming from scrum half Dan Arthur, full back Stuart Woods and No 8 Sean Oates. Woods and Arthur each added a conversion.

Camborne opened their Merit Table fixtures with a deserved away win at Wadebridge.
The visitors built up a 26-5 lead with forwards and backs combining for four well taken tries from hooker Mark Tonkin 2, flanker Akiva Eaton and a cracker from wing Cameron Bone. A brace of conversions were added by wing Shane Woods and another landed by fly half Chris Escott.
The Camels hit back hard in the closing stages but a try by scrum half Christian Barbagallo sealed victory for the Cherry & Whites.

Camborne 3rds made it a clean sweep of wins for the Cherry & Whites on the opening day of League fixtures with a Merit Table victory over plucky Perranporth.
Fly half Scott Lake and centre James Richards each went over for a brace of tries with other touchdowns coming from lock Dave Richards, prop Stuart Milliner and veteran lock Lee Hooper. Milliner landed the solitary conversion.

In a keenly contested local derby at Wheal Gerry Camborne’s second string went down by a narrow margin.
Wing Adam Notman and centre Ryan Bennett scored tries for the visitors both converted by fly half Alex Hinds.

Camborne recorded another Merit Table win with a hard fought victory at Crane Park.
Tries for the home side came from prop Jamie Moore, lock Wayne Gilbert, fly half Matt Downing and No 8 Andrew Lancaster. Full back Stuart Woods slotted two conversions and Downing added a drop goal.
The visitors got on the scoresheet with unconverted touchdowns from scrum half Andy Hitchens and wing Phil Bray.
