The tag teams continue to prosper and develop. They had some good results and some cracking games.
Burnley Tags this season have represented the club at the Manchester TAG and Vale of Lune tournaments.
Thank you to all TAG parents for there continued support of the squad, we appreciate that you all loose a lie-in on Sundays - Nick, Martin, Mick.U and Mick.H.
U10
This new team has done really well this season winning many games. It is ending the season with an invite to memorial tournament at North Ribblesday on a Saturday, a curtain raiser to the first XV match and they have been invited to the Malsis school festival - always a good day out with quality teams. The team needs to increase it's numbers so get your mates from school and home interested. Don't forget our Chinese treat, lets finish the season with some good remaining games. Well done 10s and thanks from Ian, Lee and Martin.
U12
The lads are progressing quiet well, ball sills, tackling and positional play are all improving and when they play well they play very well. However a long lay off over Christmas due to the weather, finishing numbers in the squad has lead to mixed results this season.
Next season will be one of consolidation; hopefully we can ensure outdoor training on grass throughout the season. I would like to see a commitment from all the boys to attend training sessions midweek, and if we work hard on our tacking we will be in a position to face the big guns again the following year.

I have been encouraged at the arrival of four new players within the last week which will help bolster the squad. Thr highlight of the season undoubtedly was winning the tournament at home earlier in the year.
The lads never give in and are a credit to themselves and their parents, to that end I would like to say a big thank you from Paddy and myself.
U14
Have had a good season, they have won most of their games including several U15/16 matches and of course won our Tournament.
The team is developing well. They end the season with a tough game against Preston Grasshoppers and an invite to the prestigious Ilkley 7's competition in Yorkshire on Sunday 3rd May. As it is a bank holiday weekend, if any of the lads not avilaable please let coaches know soon as possible. Note also the tournament is in the afternoon.
U17
The side has had a very successful season coming runnigs-up in the league.
It is hoped many of the lads will transfer to Senior rugby next season and boost the clubs playing strength, it will not be long before we see many of them wearing a 1st team shirt.
