Rebecca Trist (LEFT) and Georgie Greenwood were part of the North West girls team that played the East Midlands on Sunday the 10th February 2008.
The game took place at Melton Mowbray RUFC and Rebecca played 2nd row and Goergie played on the wing.
Both girls played well and contributed to a good team performance. The North West unfortunately failed to capitalise on a number of 1st half chances and the half time score was 14 – 0 to East Midlands.
The second half began much better with North West scoring early on. However, a further 2 tries by East Midlands meant that the final score was 26 – 7 to East Midlands.
The next North West match is against North East/Yorkshire away on Sunday 16th March.
