Important change to 15 Group’s programme this Sunday...
As promised, and in place of the schedule County match, the 15 Group (both A & B XVs) have an important session in the build up towards the autumn’s Northern Counties matches and the North selection process in December.
Developing a variation from the programme the county has previously undertaken with Sale Sharks, the 15 Group County has arranged a ‘structured season’ event at Liverpool John Moores University, on Sunday 25th February with registration at 10.30am, for an 11.00am start.

Afternoon:-
Outdoor fitness testing (sprints/agility) and rugby specific drills
Please note: This is for all the Lancashire 15 Group squad.
It is intended to follow this testing and assessment exercise with further sessions, monitoring players through 2006 in conjunction with the new ‘Schools of Rugby’ programme. The importance of this Sunday is therefore to determine a ‘benchmark’ for each individual player.
Players should come changed, bring (1) a packed-lunch, (2) clean trainers for inside the Sports Science Movement laboratory and workshops, and (3) be prepared for some outdoor work on the adjacent pitches, with boots.
