Applications will only be accepted from those coaches who have demonstrated attendance at Continue Personal/Professional Development (coaching seminars,conferences) and are subject to approval from the RFU

You must hold a UKCC RFU Level 1 Coaching Award or equivalent
Applications will only be accepted if they are accompanied with a copy of the candidate's Rugby Ready Certificate. This can be obtained from www.irbrugbyready.com/ibrr/en/home.jsp and completing the online questionnaire
Coaches will be required to have up to date technical knowledge, and be able to coach the following as applicable to the 15-a-side game
- Scrummage
- Lineout
- Restarts
- Backline play
- Contact Skills
- Defence/Attack
- Turnover/Counter Attack
Coaches will be required to demonstrate skills relating to communication, planning, effective coaching and coaching styles, health and safety, action planning and profiling
Coaches will be required to submit a number of home study tasks for assessment as part of the course programme including :
- Planning and Delivering Practical Sessions
- Fitness for Rugby
- Nutrition for Rugby
- Core Skills
- Laws of the Game
Courses are limited to a maximum of 32 candidates
Cancellation and transfer fees are available on the application form
A place on the course will be confirmed on receipt of a fully completed and approved application form with attached payment, providing places are available
