Director of Rugby
Andrew Cushing
After a successful playing and coaching career, Andrew Cushing became Director of Rugby/National
Coach to the Portuguese Rugby Federation from 1992 to 1995 before taking up the coaching position for University
College Worcester Students Rugby Football Club (1995 onwards.)
He was appointed as Rugby Football Union Student Liaison Officer (RUSLO) in September 1998 with a
brief to develop student rugby participation in the North and West Midlands and has also been an RFU Tutor for the
Level 1-3 Coaching Awards since 2005.
