Willenhall RFC celebrated the opening of their new changing rooms with a celebration match against a Staffordshire President's XV on Sunday August 26th
Former RFU President LeRoy Angel, who acted as advisory architect for the RFU on the project, performed the opening ceremony that was also attended by Staffordshire Rugby Union President David Beck and Willenhall's President Bill Simkin.
Chairman of Willenhall's building committee Elfyn Pugh paid tribute to the support the club had been given by the RFU and Staffs RU in getting their project completed and the high standard of workmanship of Eldon Carey of Upright Builders. The project has been partly funded by the Rugby Football Foundation and the RFU Community Clubs Development Programme.
