Established in 1981, Wheaton Aston & Penkridge RUFC celebrated our 25th Anniversary of playing league rugby in 2007. Like any club we have had ups and downs but find ourselves most definitely on the up at present. We are currently building a stronger, faster, fitter rugby club and are determined to continue the success of the club and the enjoyment of it’s members and supporters.
We play and train at the Monckton Recreation Centre, Pinfold Lane, Penkridge. Training is every Wednesday from 19:30 onwards. Past, present and future rugby players are always welcome and indeed anyone wishing to improve their overall fitness or rugby skills are also.
We play national league rugby (Midlands 5 West North division) and are members of the Staffordshire Rugby Union. We play home and away fixtures on Saturdays during September and right through to the end of April.
