From Norwich (A140)
From the A140 take a right turn onto the A1120 towards Stowmarket. Go under the A14 and follow signs to Needham Market, turning left onto the B1078 Follow B1078 through Barking until you see sign for RAF Wattisham gate 1 turn right follow road to the bottom and turn left and main gate is in front of you
OR
Join A14 at junction 51, travel ‘Eastbound’ and leave at junction 52 for
Claydon
-Great
Blakenham
and follow signs for
Wattisham
Airfield .
This will take you back on to the old
Claydon
-Needham Market road (B1113). All the junctions are marked

Bury St
Edmunds
On the A14 leave at junction 50 (Stowmarket-Needham Market).
Follow signs to Needham Market and after passing through Needham Market high street fork right on the B1078 which comes up just as you enter Needham. Follow B1078 through Barking until you see sign for RAF Wattisham gate 1 turn right follow road to the bottom and turn left and main gate is in front of you.
From the A12 Colchester, Felixstowe
If approaching from A12, proceed to the A14 (toys R us roundabout) and go left down the A14. Follow until you reach the Claydon turn and also signed for RAF Wattisham. Down to roundabout take second left and immediate first right on to the B1113 toward Needham Market. Follow B1113 for aprox 4 miles and turn on to B1078 which comes up just as you enter Needham. Follow B1078 through Barking until you see sign for RAF Wattisham gate 1 turn right follow road to the bottom and turn left and main gate is in front of you.
