With the re forming of the Wattisham Warriors in March 2008 saw a dream finally turn into reality after an absence of playing regular rugby across the camp. With a new name "Wattisham Warriors RFU" a new Committee and a new direction saw the warriors compete in August 2008 in their first competition the "Suffolk 7's" which we got through to the final and ended coming second out of 12 teams which competed.
From the 2008-2009 season the Warriors will be contesting in the Suffolk Merit Leagues with a view to gain promotion into the London Leagues over the coming seasons. We also plan on participating in the 7's and 10's competitions and teams will be entered into the Suffolk and North Walsham 7's including the Heineken 10's
At the warriors we know what's required to be successful and we pride ourselves on helping players reach their potential. We have invested in creating a Wattisham Warriors Rugby club culture that is all about team work, support for one another, winning and having a good time and It's a place where people make friends for life.
