Veor completed a half century in difficult conditions at Lankelly-Fowey. The game was just playable and the conditions made for a testing start as both teams battled with the weather and the ball. Veor took hold of the game after 20 minutes with a steady stream of tries following. Some fine positional kicking and handling led to two tries for 'Whippy' Vinnicombe, Benji Stevens and Kevin Mankee with Dan McDonald stepping in for a fine try in the second half. John Mankee's kicking was perfect with 8/8 - seven conversions and one penalty.
