GIRLS SECTION

Tamworth Rugby Club has a flourishing Girls Section with two teams, U15 Girls and U18 Girls. The Girls Section has been established since 2002.
The girls section have enjoyed great success over the past two years and their U14 team in 2006 were crowned RFUW National Champions beating Worcester Rugby Club's U14's in the Cup Final. The U14 girls team start from ages 12yrs upwards and mainly consist of girls who have never played the game of rugby, so this team is very much a development squad, but are still this season undefeated.

Tamworth and Paviors Girls U18 squad have also enjoyed great success this season, the new combined team have enjoyed some great wins. The U18 girls team starts from age 15yrs to 18yrs of age.
The Girls presently train on a Tuesday evening 6.15pm to 8pm.
Girls matches are always played on a Sunday afternoon with a 2pm kick off.
